I’m late with posting these poetry prompts for National Poetry Month, and I can own that. These prompts were supposed to be posted April 11th, but life had other plans. I got home from a SickKids trip and crashed— hard.

So here I am, minutes before running out the door to facilitate the Writers Table with the Paper Town Writers Collective posting round two of the prompts for National Poetry Month. It’s better late than never.

We can’t always show up in the ways we wish we could, and that’s okay. I hope that in the moments that life has you at your knees, you find the courage to choose yourself. Sometimes its okay to let things wait.
